Alex Job Racing/Emory Motorsports Coming Back After 12 Hours

Daytona Beach , Florida -- Alex Job Racing/Emory Motorsports is running in fourth after 12 hours at the Grand American Rolex Series presented by Crown Royal Reserve Rolex 24 Hour at Daytona.

Following the repairs, drivers Long, Luhr and Rockenfeller came back and began to push the pace, making up seven laps in only six hours. "We are not too bad considering the early problems," said Mike Rockenfeller. "The car remains strong and that is good as the traffic is very tough. We are starting to double stint the car now so we can be a little fresher for our stints. I hope that our bad luck is behind us now."

Lucas Luhr is happy to push the pace to get back to the front. "We are really pushing. The car is very good and that makes it easy to get through traffic. I really want to win here. I really like to run here because it is almost day light out there with the way they have the track lit. It is easy your eyes and helps with the visibility."

Alex Job knows the team has to challenge the time sheet to catch up. "We haven't had any problems since the two early issues in the race. We are pushing hard to gain ground and make up the laps that we went down. We knew it would be a hard pace, you are not going to win this race by cruising."

Speed TV is broadcasting more than 14 hours of the 24 Hours at Daytona. The first segment will air with the start of the race on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. EST and run air until 6:00 p.m., they will return at 8:00 p.m. and run until 11:00 p.m. On Sunday the show will resume at 8:00 a.m. and run the finish at 12:30 p.m.
