Alex Job Racing to Field One Porsche 911 RSR for '06 ALMS Season Rockenfeller, Graf and Rahal to Drive

Tavares, Florida - Alex Job Racing will look to get back on top of the GT2 team and drivers championship podium in 2006 with drivers Mike Rockenfeller and Klaus Graf behind the wheel of the number 23/Alex Job Racing/Bell Microproducts/Porsche 911 RSR in the ten race American Le Mans Series. The team will be joined by road racing prodigy Graham Rahal for Sebring and Petit Le Mans.

The Florida based factory Porsche team has run two 911s in past years, but will concentrate its efforts on just one entry for the '06 season. "We have always done really well at Sebring. Last year we stumbled a bit, but we have studied our difficult 2005 race and we are more prepared than ever to add to our six victories here in three weeks. We are pleased to have Mike Rockenfeller, Klaus Graf and young Graham Rahal with us for Sebring."

Mike Rockenfeller joins AJR for the first time in the ALMS. The German spent the last two seasons with BAM! and in '03 with Orbit Racing. Going into his third year as a Porsche factory driver, Rockenfeller has seven 24 hour races on his resume with a Le Mans win in GT2 in '05 with the combination of Alex Job Racing and BAM!

Klaus Graf is returning to the ALMS series, where he once piloted the factory Panoz LMP car. Last year Graf was crowned the Trans-Am champion with five poles and four wins behind the wheel of the Rocketsports Jaguar. The German has a history in the 911 competing in the 2004 Porsche Michelin Supercup series.

Graham Rahal comes over from the A1 Grand Prix series where he is driving the final three races for A1 Team Lebanon as well as taking on the new Champ Car Formula Atlantic series. Rahal drove a Porsche at the Daytona 24 in January and is looking to add more endurance racing experience to his already strong open wheel dossier.

"We have a great mix of speed, maturity and youth in our car," continued Job. "Mike is a known commodity to us and Klaus and Graham will have a little learning curve with the team and the car, but both are professionals and we are planning to go after the GT2 championship this year. The GT2 category looks to be the strongest ever in ALMS. The new Ferrari will be very tough and the BMWs and Lexus', although running for a separate GT2 title, will still be cars that every competitor must beat to feel proud about winning the championship come October."

Alex Job Racing is no stranger to victory at Sebring, the team has won the race six times in 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001, 1999 and 1995.
