7-13-04 -- For Immediate Release

AJR Poised for Good Run at Infineon

Tavares, Florida -- Alex Job Racing is on the west coast at team sponsor McKenna Porsche preparing the teams two McKenna/mail2web.com/Alex Job Racing/Porsche 911 GT3 RSRs for round four of the American Le Mans Series race to be run
at Infineon Raceway on July 18.

Following two somewhat disappointing finishes at Mid-Ohio and Lime Rock, Alex Job Racing is preparing to defend its win last year at the track located in Sonoma's wine country.

Following the Lime Rock race, Timo Bernhard has slipped to second place in points with co-driver Jorg Bergmeister in tenth and teammates Romain Dumas and Marc Lieb in fourth.

"Sears is one of the tracks I really like on the schedule," said Timo Bernhard. "You have both really fast corners like the esses before start/finish and the technical corners, which are very challenging for a driver. The corners in the infield that are off-camber and are the keys to this track, you can gain or loose a lot of time based upon how your car reacts through those
sections. My favorite part of the track is the run from turn-one to turn-four and the fast esses in the back."

Romain Dumas and Marc Lieb, new with team for 2004, have another new track to learn. "Romain and I are learning new tracks every weekend," said Lieb. "We were on pole at Lime Rock and then ran a very competitive race to finish on the podium. From the layout Infineon looks very challenging and there are a lot of corners to learn how to get through fast. The team has helped us to get up to speed at these new tracks so Infineon should not be a problem."

"We have had a difficult past two races. The whole team is looking forward to Infineon as we have always done well there," said Alex Job. "The entire GT field has really stepped up the game this year. There are new teams competing for wins and old ones winning again. You can't afford to make mistakes or have the slightest problems or you are not going to win."

Round four of the American Le Mans Series will be July 18th and televised live on CBS starting at 11:00 a.m. PCT and 3:00 p.m. EST.
