Alex was in the retail car business for 20 years, primarily with Porsche.started autocrossing at 18 in St. Petersburg, FL. Retired from auto retail to run race team full time in 1990. Built first two IMSA 911's in 2 car garage, at home. Rented 1st shop space in 1991. Retired from driving in 1992 to concentrate on managing the team and business. ALMS Mechanic of the Year in 1998
